flowerhorn x festae

C. Festae is believed by some, as one of the original pure breeds used in making some of the Flowerhorn strains. So yes, you should be able to breed a Flowerhorn and Festae together....

Vary easy good luck getting good color out though maybe a female with good color but a male out of the cross probaly not to colorful.

hi yea, i have my female festae getting cozy with a male royal degree for a while, when i checked last, both were guarding their flowerpot with some eggs inside, some were bad, but quite a few look fertilised.
i didn't intend this to happen, but maybe because there are only 2 males in the tank, FH and a young cuban, she decided to hook up with the FH.
there are few fish in the tank, but all females.
