Flowerhorn x Red Devil 5 months w/pics

Here are a couple of pictures of my 5 month old flowerhorn and red devil mix. Any one seen what this mix looks like when they get older ? Ive heard of them being called devil horns. Also one fish out of about the 40 fhs is starting to change colors, I cant wait to see what he'll turn out to look like. while the Dev was a key ingredient in the original make up in the construction of the flowerhorn strain back when it was developed. I have not been a fan to the product you get when mixing the two now a days. They most of the time turn out very unattractive and have you back stepping in the wrong directing. The one you have pointed out in your batch however seems to be pealing though (showing the RD trait coming out, so you may get lucky? Keep us updated on the progress

will keep you updated....you are right some of the bunch look pretty dull and not too many flowers. although their are a few stars in the tank with excellent color and lots of flowers. the parents were pretty attractive and the male which was the red devil had a nice pronounced hump.
