Flowerhorn x Rotkeil...possible?

I have an awesome male red dragon, Lunchbox Norm. I am looking for a cool female for him. He is very tolerant of tankmates, I have added some friends over the past week or so to test his compatability. He is actually very friendly...wussy!! But I love red shouldered sevs...I think Norm would also..possible to breed?? I am 100% new at the breeding concepts. Would just like to try and take my hobby to the next level.

i would think so

bp has some severum in it apparently and bp's and flowerhorns can interbreed

so not 100% but theres a chance

There is no severum in bp's at all. South American (Severum) and Central American (FH and bp are a mix of several CA cichlids) fish can not hybridize.
