you can't just cross 2 pure fish and get a flowerhorn. There exact origin is unknown but the zz type flowerhorns are usually trimac based. The kamfa types are usually more vieja based. Red texas are usually created by breeding a texas to a parrot, then back crossed and bred to each other, etc.
