Flowerhorn

hi all I am desperately looking for some medical advice. My flowerhorn injured his bottom lip the other day which left only a little mark but over the past few days it has destroyed his bottom lip. I have been treating him for ulcers and fin rot. He hasn’t eaten in 3 days now which is not like him and he isn’t socialable at the moment. Any advice would be great full.

That may be a fungus, I'm not an expert as far as this goes, but you may want to try treating for fungus. I'll let others decide what it could be, but my guess is it's a fungus.

It looks like the beginning of Flexibactor columnaris aka Flavobacterium columnare aka Duck Lips.

I just had my FH go through this. Def looks like Duck lip. I used Zedrix Sword. Can be ordered online and followed dosing guidelines and he is doing amazing now.
