I've 2 flowerhorns in a 50g tank (usually in 2 separate 50g), this morning I've come into a plate full of eggs and I'm wondering if the 2nd flowerhorn is actually a male. I've attached photos of the flowerhorn in question.

Thanks in advance:)

If I remember correctly if there is Black in the dorsal fin it is female.

Going off of that, the smaller would be the girl, bigger is male. Fertile or not is another story. If the eggs stay white then it's not fertilized, if it turns a tan color then good to go.

then how r there eggs its gotta be a female they usually have a small bump
I know I have a female. I'm unsure that the other fish (the larger one) is actually a male. I was hoping for someone to confirm / deny that for me.

From the pic looks male, no black ik n the dorsal fin. If you can get a better pic of the bigger one, thst had his dorsal up fully lioke my Oscar in this pic.20180607_130949.jpg

That way we can see if any black in the dorsal fin.
