I have a 90 gal. with 2 parrots 8", and a few small ciclids 2". Would I be able to keep flowerhorns in with them????? I had several larger ciclids, a JD, and 2 oscars in it. I ended up having to remove the oscars. I started missing to many fish. So I put all the larger fish except the parrots in another 90gal. tank. Are flowerhorns agressive???? I was going to get a few small ones. What do you think????

Flowerhorns are hyperaggressive........they will probably kill your fish.

I think it'd be too small a tank to add a FH.. 90 gallon usually will fair for 1 FH.. and yes, FH's are VERY aggressive.. mine will flare at me. Haha.. but you could always try if you want to.. sometimes it'll work out.. especially if the other fish are bigger than it is.. but it may go crazy once it gets big enough.

I've never had a problem with Fh's and parrots together... maybe the fh will harmlessly chase them a little... but if your tank is big enuff the parrots will be fine!

some people really mix parrots with fh's they say to make his hump bigger when he gets mad and more active(though having a big hump goes with the genes too)But be sure to give those parrots atleast a place to hide incase the chasing becomes to much.

Even with bonsai red tx, etc.. Flowerhorns are aggressive.. just because a fish has same coloration will make no difference.. I agree with aquaticwonders, that's why I keep BP's with my FH.. just to increase hump.. it does help slightly.. but only if your FH has a water kok.
i meant get rid of the flowerhorn idea and get more expensive b.p. crosses.
