took some photos of my flowers with the blue actinics on. was giving them their night time feeding of chopped night crawlers. they are really fattening up!

I love how odd they look.
Like the vents near their eyes.
Great LED effects also.
Thing is bright though, how many watts is it?

any compact flourescant light fixture will work. just get the right size for your tank. if u want the blue look then add 2 "blue actinic" bulbs. the 420 refers to the color temperature.... although if u want to 420 compactly you can try a dugout and bat also known as a one hitter.

Also, I know about those pin based fixtures, I thought they made a moonlight that was a thread based CFL!
That would be great, no commitment to an expensive fan cooled pin based unit.
