Hello all. I have a silver datnoid that in quarantine that purchased and it has since shown an immense infection of flukes, along with the characteristic mucous cloud over its eyes and body. I tried API general cure which did nothing but took 13 dollars out of my wallet.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated...also if you know if the same treatment would work on a gar, polyp senegalus and a silver aro tank? I HOPE it did not spread through a foolish move of myself using the same algae cleaner or net (fingers crossed).

Jungle labs parasite guard should work

Praziquantel is the best cure for flukes IMO... it is used for people, dogs, and even fish :)

Prazi-Pro is alright I suppose, as long as it has Prazi as the active ingredient.

My father is a veterinarian, so I got a bunch of Prazi pills and ground them up with a mortar and pestle and then dosed it for 3mg/l. No more flukes, and a safe prophylactic treatment for new fish.

Great stuff!

i tried praziquantel in the form of Jungle Parasite Clear previously. It did nothing for the infestation, but it also containt diflubenzuron, metronidazole, and acriflavine (according to package). Would a purer prazi product have any more success you think?
