I went to Petsmart today to buy the powder Crested Gecko diet, but they didn't have any. I bought Flukers Crested Gecko Food that is in pellet form. Has anyone used this? I'm not sure if my Gecko will even touch it.

Yeah, they are small pellets that you don't soak or anything. Probably not a good sign that you have never heard of them. That means that they suck, or they are brand new, or both.

You don't soak it or anything? That's really weird. I can't imagine that they would eat dry food like that. I guess if you wanted to you could crush it up and then add some water to it like the normal stuff.

Yeah, I know, weird. It says it has a fruity smell, but it doesn't smell too fruity to me. It would be awsome if he eats it, because putting pellets in the dish is a lot easier than mixing powder. I'll give you an update of whether he eats it or not, but I won't be suprised if he doesn't touch it. I may try to mush it in with banana if he doesn't eat it as is.

I thought Crested Gecko's ate live food?

They eat both fruits and bugs in the wild. Most who own them give them Repashy or T-Rex food as a staple, which is a fruity powder that you mix with water, and then they supplement that with the occasional cricket feeding.

weird, looking forward to the update. But I'm with you, I wouldn't be surprised it if doesn't eat it.

Oh I see. Well my first reptile was a Bearded Dragon and they eat like crazy. Is a crested gecko anything like that?

As in terms off food supply. The bearded dragon just made me keep buying more and more cricket/roaches/phoenix worms.
