Just had a bad infestation of flukes which I caught early and saved the whole tank minus one. Here is what I did- melafix thw whole tank- 1st day. Quick-cure the 2nd day, Antibiotics (amoxicilln) the 3rd day with more quick cure. The melafix was to stress the flukes, the quick cure was to kill. The antibiotics was to prevent infection setting in from damage to fish from rubbing on rocks. Oh yeah- I first did a 20% water change and lastly added a UV sterilizer that is going to stay until I hit 7 days. Then I will do another 30% water change at the end of 7 days. Fish eating and looking healthy. I have a brackish tank with monos, scats, archers, dats, nerite snails (still alive), black belt, and black fin shark.
