Fluorescent Ballast

I have two 48" light strips, which each hold two 24" bulbs. On each one, one bulb buzzes very loudly if used. I just need to replace the ballast though. Does anyone know where I can get them? The lowes website has them...$26 each. I might as well just get a whole new light if its that expensive. HD doesn't have them on its website.

that is usually the most expensive part of a florescent light fixture. Try your local electronics supply warehouse . But will probably be more cost effective to buy a new light.

I dont know what shipping would be off the internet for a ballist but home depot has new residental light fixtures for under 20 dallors.

or go to homedepot.com. click lighting then florecent then sort priced low to high should be on bottom of first page.

The problem with HD/lowes fixtures is the ones that use T8 bulbs are all 32W, instead of 40.
