As a reduced element, flouride in your water is not there as pure element. You can actually buy reef suppliments for bromide+flouride..

The ammounts that will be added to your water supply will be fine, so, dont worry. Flouride is actually taken up as part of the calcification process

You can do that... or you can always purchase yourself an API tap water filter.
It will deionize your water by collecting more harmful unneeded chemicals and minerals in the water. It will also not be as wasteful as an RODI. Helps if you are putting off on a RODI system, and will still take out some junk from the water.
