So, I'm a new guy here and my tank is currently in the earlier stages of the fishless cycle.
I currently have red t-grade Color Quartz and I've decided that I want to go with a low-tech planted tank (no CO2 at this point). I wanted to know if red flourite would look okay with my substrate as none of my LFS carry the red version. I know it's signifigantly larger than my Color Quartz, but do will it look semi-natural? Would I be better off just changing my substrate at this point? It'll likely increase the length of my cycle.
Thanks,
Lamar

from 3M's website. It's lighter than this in normal lighting. It's probably close to the Tan
picture on their site.
