among the improvements from the 04 to the 05 line, the two that i think are most notable t me are the improved intake strainer and the newer tank mounting piece (the piece that holds the tubes to the tank edge). does anyone know if either could be bought as a relacement part and work on the 04 line? i mainly want to know if the intake strainer for the 05 will fit on the uptake pipe on the 04 and if the tank mounting piece from the 05 line will hold the hoses for the 04 line. i have a 404 and a 304 but like the improvements and if i could just buy those two parts and effectively have an 05, it would save a lot of money over buying new 05 filters.
