I removed the check ball from the strainer on the intake hose to the filter to see if the flow rate would increase and it seamed to help quite a bit. What is the danger of leaving this ball out. There is still a strainer on the intake to prevent anything large from entering the filter. What purpose idoes this ball have. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks
