In The Little Town Of Bedrock!
Hi there,

So I'm setting up a 20 gallon tank and I'm wondering if a Fluval 104 by itself would be alright for filtering the tank?

The stock list is going to be;
6 Panda Corys
10 Cardinal Tetras
20 Cherry Shrimp (to start off with)
2 Bumblebee Horned Snails

I'm going to be making this a planted tank so I want the least about of visible tubing. Would a 5 gallon sump be better?

Thanks!

I don't see why not. As long as it is maintained properly it would be a good investment.

For a 20 gal with your suggested stocklist... I think you'll be fine...

Although sumps definitely have some advantages, I do not think this set up would benefit from the advantages enough to justify the input...
