Fluval 205 Canister

I've never done canister filters before, but I want one for my planted fish tank to minimize co2 loss. I found a fluval 205 on craigslist for 50 bucks. The owner says its in good condition, no leaks, and he has two new media sets. sound like a good deal for a planted tank? I have no idea how good the fluval 205 is

Its a good filter, but depends on how big your tank is....

I have this filter in my 30gal tank.. It works a treat.. I would suggest not going over the 30 gal though.. $50 second hand is a good price..

ok sweet, I'm getting it for a ten gallon. I know its overkill, but i dont want to lose co2 in my tank, so i was going to make my own canister filter, but this way seems much easier, and probably cheaper in the long run
