I might be looking into buying a tank set up that comes with a Fluval 304. I know the Fluval brand is a quality one but I don't know much about the makes of their canisters. I am having a bit of trouble finding much information on this model. I'd like to know if this is a good filter. The tank it comes with is a 75g so is the 304 strong enough to handle a tank of that size? My only other canister experience is with a Sunsun that I really like so I am hoping I am able to figure out this Fluval just as well.

I have a 204 that has been running non stop (besides maintenance) for almost 8 years now. Love it!!! especially if it has the vinyl hoses and not the ribbed ones.
There decent filters, its pretty much the same as a 305. There really easy to setup, get the foam for 304/305 and you could use biomax in the trays.
If you have a lightly stocked 75g it should be enough but youd be much better off getting an Aquaclear 110 also

I used to have a 304 and currently have a 405 and an FX5. Fluval makes good stuff.
I had my 304 on a 46 bow front with an UG filter with power heads. On a 75, I would definitely add a HOB to supplement.
