I just set up my 100 gallon and connected 2 Fluval 305's to it, Will this be good enough filtration to keep it all clean? This is the biggest tank I've had, just upgraded from a 55 gallon! :headbang2

I currently have about 6 cichlids, 2 oscars, 2 convicts, 2 bala sharks and 2 plecos. biggest fish are a 7 inch bala and a 14 inch pleco.
Would that be good how many more fish can i add or is that too many?

Wow that's a lot of messy fish that get big....I would maybe add a hob filter to that equation as 2 305's might not cut it with that stick list... I see large frequent water changes in your future if you don't upgrade

I see lg. W/c's either way ....that prob. Gonna be enough filtration to keep the fish healthy...and since your gonna have to do BIG w/c's any way keep it like it is for a little while and YOU be the judge on more filtration:-)

Haha yeah its been clear so far but this is the first week its been stocked. I thought 2 305s would be able to cut it but i have a large hob from my old tank i can probably add on if it starts getting dirty. thanks for the input!

Your pushing the limit now ....I would hold off...it's gonna be crowded in there sooner than you think
