Fluval 306 vs 406 small tank

Hello. I have a 306 and 406 from my 75 gallon that I torn down for the winter now. I'm going to setup a 25 gallon for feeder fish and would the 406 be to much filtration?

id run them both. 406 pure mech. 306 pure ceramic/bio

I'd either run the 406 or both.
