fluval 4 plus ?'s

i just bought a tank and a fluval 4 canister came with it. i was wondering how do you change your filter you pull out the bottom and put that pet fiber on both sides and a filter carbon pad in the middle or just carbon from the box. i i have the pad in and that is how i do it and i was wondering if that is right ? thanks

I just use a sponge in mine, cut to size if needed...

Use a sponge and just rinse it when it becomes clogged.
