hey guys i bought a 125 gallon tank with a fluval 305 that needs some work, so the next day i bought a 405 and its currently running, but i looked into more details and it says its only good for aquariums up to 100 gallons, so will it be worth spending maybe 50 more bucks to hopefully get the 305 started to filter my tank along with the 405? please let me know guys! thanks!

depends on the tank conditions, the 405 by itself may be sufficent if you have a modest amount of fish such as 50 inches or less of fish in that 125, if your gonna stock it more though I would reccomend spending the money and getting the 305 going as you will only be slightly overfiltering which is better than slightly underfiltering

ok cool, but would overfilterating be bad if i plan on raising like a baby pair of black nasty's and a pair of RTM's? maybe all bout an inch each?
