---Fluval 406 VS Aquatop CF500UV!!! For 90 gal.---

I just need some advice from you guys about witch one is better for a 90 gal. aquarium the
[h=1]Aquatop CF500UV[/h]or the
[h=1]Fluval 406??????[/h]Thanks

I haven't dealt with the aquatic at all but I am running a fluval 405 on my 110 and it does spectacularly. It is very easy to get started and take apart and clean.

I have a 406 and a 405 on a 120. The 406 is more powerful and more quiet than even the 405 so I'm sure its better than aquatop stuff.

I've got an aquatop on my 90 and I love it. I haven't used the UV bulb much, but I really like that it's an option should I need it. Just my $.02

Have you had experience with canisters?

If not, I would say go Fluval, due to user friendliness and ease of cleaning. Otherwise they both will do a great job.

If you're going to spend more and get a 406, might as well just get an FX5.

I would go 406 or FX5.I had a Aquatop CF300 and my Fluval 305 out flowed it by a long shot and it's better made.
