I've seen a few similar sized setups at a few lfs and I know it will be tricky but what have you guys tried in 5 gallon tanks.

I had a chi set up for about a year. It took more time than my 150. The stock filtration is miserable so I upgraded it to a hob and also put a fluval clamp on light. Had softies in it and even my log tentacle for about 2 months. But the amount of water that evaporated every day it really needed an ato or 3-4 top offs a day. It's really not worth it to be honest. I was just too hard headed I give up because I liked the challenge.

This is what I was thinking, guess I'll stash this pipe dream in the back of my head for now.

I'd go for an edge instead, seen that done many times. Successfully I might add...

Already have a chi, looking for a new use for it.

Pics?

Here is the tank as of now. The java moss needs trimming and will probably get another anubis or two, still got some fine tuning as far as scaping is concerned.
