So I have my 75G up and running with 2 Penguin 350's and just added a Fluval E 300. I placed the heater in and the tank was 76.5 when I went to bed. I set the temp for 78.5. I woke up and the tank was 75.5. The house is at 70 degrees. It was placed in the middle of the tank between the two 350's. It is intermittently flashing LF. I moved the heater within 2 inches of one of the filter intakes and it still flashed LF. I unplugged the heater and plugged it back in and it now registers 77 after topping off my tank with warm water and the face is green. I am discouraged that regardless of low flow this heater did not operate better. I am hoping the new placement fixes this issue but what does not make sense to me is that I had a vastly underpowered 10G heater on this tank for the last 5 days and it kept it at 76 degrees. This 100G heater can't even keep it 75.5. I bought this heater because of the protection it has for my oscar (plastic guard). Just hope it works this time, not sure what avenue to go if it does not. Anyone else experience this>
