I was just wondering what expiriences people have had with this heater. I cant seem to find to many reviews or opinions on them that i trust. I like the idea and look but it seems like there is a high potential for problems with the extra features. Thanks.

I had 2 for 4 months before replacing them with in-line heaters. They did their jobs and the display was nice however no matter what I did, I couldn't position them so that they wouldn't give me the low flow warning even when placed within 2" of my returns.

i love mine. the LF did come up at random times even when i didnt move it. But i just put a small powerhead aimed at it and its all good. Tank just about always in the green. and doesnt look to bad either if you plan to keep it in tank.
I wont be using one in my new sump set up though as i imagine the Low Flow would be going nuts

If I were to pick up another tank I'd bring my E300s out of storage and use them again. I mostly replaced them because I saw in-line heaters and the temptation of having a cleaner looking tank get the best of me after a month.

Thanks for all the advice guys. Im picked one up for my 65 today. My LFS had them for 5 dollars cheaper than online. I dont worry about the look of that tank too much and i really do like the heaters look anyway. Its been on for about 6 hours and no LF warning yet.

i have two for my 150 gallon and they work like a charm best heater iv had keeps the tank at exactly the right temperature but if you keep it away from the over flow or any water thats moving you should be fine thats how mine is right now
