Fluval Edge stocking ideas?

I have a 180 gallon at my dad's house. I am getting married in September and can't bring the tank with me until we buy a house. He is going to help take care of the tank until then but I would like to have a small tank in our apartment and love the fluval edge. What are some stocking ideas for it? I'd like something that isn't too common in smaller tanks (bettas, guppies, etc.). I would love cory cats but not sure if its big enough?

My 3 year old has one he got from my parents as a gift. Without going in to too much detail as to how the stock came to be, I'll tell you it has 9 1" tiger barbs and 1 yellow glo fish.
