fluval filter 403

Hey I am wondering if a fluval filter 403 is enough power to power a 180 gallon tank.]]thanks

No way! the 403 is way to small for a 180 6x2x2 tank on its own.Try investing in a Fluval FX5! not to exspensiven,and run it alongside the 403.

I agree; just one isn't enough. It depends on the fish you keep though. Most likely, you will need more filtration than just that. Like the previous poster said, an FX5 would be a great choice. An eheim 2260 is another large canister, or you could go with smaller ones such as Rena XP3/4, more fluval 405's, or eheims. Emperor 400 or AC110 is the two most popular HOBs I think.
