Where can I purchase approx. 3 ft. of 5/8 in. tubing for purging my FX5 for maintenance? I visited Petco this morning and could not find anything that would fit. Can it be pruchased at a local home improvement store or should a local LFS have it? The FX5 cd shows that you need this item in order to drain the filter prior to performing maintenance, but it's not included. I even searched Fluval's website and came up empty. I really think that Fluval should include 3 ft. of hosing with the filter.

home depot or lowe's. You can get it directly from Hagen but they'll charge you an arm and a leg for it.
I never use that drain valve except to gravel vac my tank.
