I currently have a 75 Gal that I have had for about 7 years now. I am using a Rena XP4, Under Gravel and a Fluval C4 for filtration at the moment. My dleima is this. The Air filter is getting weak as is the Rena. So I am considering retiring the Rena and using it on my 55 Gal and do away with the undergravel and the C4 filters and going with the Fluval FX5. Just not sure if the FX5 will be to powerful for a 75 Gal. While I have had my aquarium for a while I am not expert (more like a novice) in this area so thoughts and comments are welcome. Also if i remove the undergravel filter is it ok to just take the air tubes out and leave everything else intact.
