I am selling an FX5 that I installed April 26 and removed May 6 of this year, so it was in use for 10 days. I opted to take it in compensation for working a two day sale at a LFS store that I have been affiliated with for years. It is something I wanted but do not need, and cash is looking more attractive to me now.
It is in absolutely brand new condition (well, I couldn't get the sponges 100% clean, and I trimmed the hose about one foot on each side, leaving about 5.5 feet on each side), and includes everything that it came with, including instruction booklet and DVD. I can also provide proof of purchase if you would like it for warranty purposes.
It includes two liters of Eheim Substrate Pro bio media($50 + $9 shipping from Drs. Foster and Smith) and 750g of Fluval pre filter rings, which is as much as this filter will accomodate. The media for each of the three baskets will be separated into its own ziplock.
$250 plus shipping. I will use UPS ground unless the buyer has another preference. It will be shipped in its original box.
