Hi, someone can explain to me since the water works in this filter? the water enters overhead, after that it does? It goes down for all the baskets and rises to the aquarium? Or does it go down and rises for the baskets to the aquarium? thanks

Incoming aquarium water is discharged internally at the very bottom of the canister. From there, it moves up and then makes a hard 90 degree angle turn into the foam pads surrounding the three media baskets. After going through the foam, it makes another 90 degree turn and moves up along the exterior of the central media chambers through finned channels. When the water reaches the top of the topmost media basket, it reverses direction (turns 180 degrees) and now moves downward through the three cylindrical chambers in the middle of the three media baskets. At the bottom of the bottommost media basket, the now fully filtered (more or less) water gets sucked into the pump chamber and is pushed all the way back up through a tube running the length of the canister, out of the canister and back into your tank. Simple, right?
