Was looking to purchase the FX5 from a dealer online. The total would come out to $210 shipped. Is this a pretty good deal?

I'm also looking to buy a FX5. I think 210 is a really good deal. If you don't mind me asking, where did you find it for that price?
That seems to be a very good price. The filter alone runs more than that usually. They are great filters. I love mine. It's just hard for me to do the regular cleaning on it because it is so BIG. But they are well worth the money you invest in them.

I only posted what I paid for mine recently for reference...
I cant speak on why somebody else does anything...
I would however, venture to speculate, that if their ad is a reflection of the truth and they have indeed sold literally Thousands of FX5's then there is bound to be a fluctuation in the wholesale pricing, depending on which supplier or carrier handled the order...Passing the savings along to the consumer is great...
I am just glad I waited this long to actually purchase one, I have been checking them out since they hit the market at over 400 bones...
IMO it is worth a couple of hundies, but certianly NOT a 400.00 job...
I spent the last week loking for a deal on an FX5. Most on ebay are at 335.00. I saw Big Als had it for 269.00. The store where I work has it at 280.00. With my discount I paid about 210.00. Just set it up yesterday. Totally worth it!
