This must be the 100th G series bashing post by people who don't own one. Keep an open mind, it may be the best filter to ever hit the market. We don't know yet. With the money Hagen spent developing it I have to give them the benefit of the doubt that it will work good, until proven it doesn't. It's already the best thing to hit the market in that they are spending money on R&D. Maybe this will turn out to be a miss, but support them for trying so they don't stop and maybe the next thing will be the fish keeping silver bullet for $29.95. Holding the bashing until you have facts and data. I agree they may have out priced the market but that will get corrected or the product will be dropped.

If I had money to burn I would buy one instead of burning the money. But that's just me and we're different people.
 
the fluval g sure looks pretty. i'd buy it instead of an engagement ring for my girlfriend. then i would have an excuse to keep it when she dumps me harder than a meteor hitting earth.
 
Sorry, maybe I should of searched it before I started the thread.
Once again I find myself saying that we should totally stop allowing new threads except in the lobby and just use the search engine here cause 99% of the time it has already been a topic of many threads.

It's just another way to get the lazy people to not have to take the 10 minutes it takes to do the maintenance and cut the time down by not having to turn the power off to change the media.
Wow I guess it keeps an eye on the temperature looking for fluctuations. IMO for this price it should scrub the glass and do waterchanges too.
