I've never had a problem with my fluval - I think it's a great canister filter. I'm guessing you had a bad experience with one.

you can buy an eheim 2262 for the money or use a whole house filter same type of filter

price is drop down to $295.00 / G6 , i got 1 from amazon , set it up last night for new tank , every super performer (like pre filter, very easy to clean no mess ) . except my conductivity level at 2000 .now try to bring it down . but how .......... ?..... may end up change all the old water
