hey i didn't know whether to put this here, or in the DIY forum...regardless, as in everything else aquarium, i like to pay less if i can, for items they kill you on at the store, which amount to nothing fancier than a basic household item.
im in need of hoses for my fluval 204 and 404 cannisters. the originals are not fully functional for one reason or another, and im wondering if anyone has come up with a "best" replacement option. so far i've got it down to 5/8ths reinforced tubing from lowes, attached with hose clamps to the filter.
has anybody tried this method with those materials? also, is there a better solution i may be overlooking?
