Hello, I'm going to buy a Fluval Mini Pressurized 20g-CO2 Kit - 0.7 ounces for a 4 gallon planted tank but I was wondering how long the cartridges will last at a healthy rate for my plants to grow?

I would guess a couple days. 20g Co2 cartidges arent very big so they dont last very long.

If you only have it on during the day ike most people a few weeks i think look up fishtanktv.com or look at youtube there is quight a few reviews on there.

You should only have it on during the day.

It's going to last a couple of weeks.. These systems are not worth it at all (the cartridge refills are ridiculously priced). On a tank that small just do a small DIY co2 setup or spend some real money on a proper pressurized co2 setup with a 5 or 10 pound co2 tank. Then you can T your co2 into secondary and tertiary tanks as well.

That's not entirely true. If you were to spend a little time checking the product review and the manufactures instruction you would see that most people have a canister last 1.5-3 months (if installed with rate of bubbles of 1-2 per second for 8-10 hours a day) which in reality your tank doesn't need to have co2 being pumped into it for that long. Even 6 hours would suffice. I own this system on my 5 gal. And the only complaint that I have is that the reactor sucks. That's why I bought a mini glass one.

And with deals like this all the time online that means you can have co2 for upwards of 5+ months for $40. I'd say that's not bad at all

I've not seen anyone have these things last for 1.5 to 3 months. Don't even think that's possible. A 20oz co2 tank won't even last that long at 1-2 bps. To each their own though (I use a 20 pound co2 tank).

Also that link you posted is for the larger 88g tanks not the 20g ones which I think he was asking about.
