Fluval Output Nozzle

Does anyone have any idea if the Fluval Fx5 Dual output nozzle will fit with the tubing of a Fluval 405?

Basically I just want a dual output instead of single.

Or does anyone know of any good universal output nozzles that are flexible (can move around)?

I seem to be on a roll. 3 threads today

i dont think it would work, the FX5 is 1" OD tubing and the 405 is 3/4" OD so it would be small

might be able to stick the rubber boot into the nozzle instead of over the nozzle

Worth a shot. If that fails, I could always go to Lowe's or Home Depot and try and find something that will connect the 2. If THAT fails, I will have waisted no more than 12-13 bucks.
