I have a protein formula pellet and a vegetable formula pellet, both from fluval. They're even coloured appropriately, protein reddy colour, vegetable pellets dark green. The ingredients of each seem to be in order, protein based ingredients amongst others in the protein pellets and vegetable based ingredients amongst others in the veg pellets.
So why are the analytical contents, on both, listed as exactly the same....which is protein 35%, fat content 6%, crude fibres 4% and crude ash 10%. Surely these %'s should vary bearing in mind the products are chalk and cheese.
Or is it just because it's fish food, not for human consumption, that fish food manufacturers can put what they like on their labels.
