At this point she pissed on herself laughing. She knows my boyfriend is not happy about my love of animals lol. I hang up with her and take it all out. I had to walk away. I could focus on all the parts.
Something happens to us once we are in a relationship. We need help with stuff. I put it aside for a day I could ask my boyfriend to help put together... Or just get tired of it in the middle of the floor.
Big day we are putting it together.... I hand him the instructions and he is wtf its a bible for this thing? So he starts to put together as I remove old filters from tank. He is like where is the other hose? I'm telling him there is only one.
Gives me look at keeps going. We get hoses in and filter plugged in and it starts. I'm so excited..... Until I see the hose isn't straight.
(me) Oh crap we have to fix hose.
(him) why its fine...
(me) No it says it can't be like this.
So I reach to unplug it and I see him reach for the valve. I'm like wait! I see it all in my head oh Sh*T he isn't... Yes folks he did... That voice in my head told me to yell at him. I saw the big stop sign.
Takes off the valve and water everywhere... I'm running for towels at this point and yelling unplug unplug. Towels in hand I start mopping up. He gets it straight and plugs it back in... Then he goes to shove it under the tank. I left the room to put the towels to get washed.
(him yelling) Doesn't fit.
(me) Make it fit.
(him) You don't understand
(me) Turn it or tilt it
(him) omg come here..
I go over and I see what he is talking about. I take a second to think this over and I'm like take the damn door off. So we did and got it under the tank. My lesson was to do these things when he isn't around so I don't have to clean more of a mess. I just wanted to share.
