Fluval vs Eheim. Which one is better?

Just curious. Looking for a cannister filter. Which do you prefer and why?

I have used both. They both work. The eheim is probably the better of the two.

When faced with the same choice, I went with an FX5 for price. Loaded it with Eheim media though as it performs better and lasts longer ime

fluval is better IMO for one reason. while the ehiem is better is quite a few ways fluval is alot cheaper and almost as good.
if u have plenty of money to spend ehiem is the way to go

of the eheims what's better, the classic or the ecco?

Also I read that fluvals are better/cheaper for the bigger tanks, but eheim is hands down better for smaller tanks.
