Hey everyone, I'm new to the Monster Fish Keepers forum but definitely not new to fish. I'm currently in the process of setting up my 4th and final tank (I hope lol) It's a 70 Gallon tank (50x18x18). The tank is currently cycling with a Rena XP2, I'm selling this canister to a friend who has just joined the hobby, and now I'm out looking for a new Canister. My question is how is the new Fluval series? I'm considering a 406 Canister but the 405 had such a bad reputation for breaking and slowing on flow rate, I want some first hand knowledge on these filters. How pricey is the media for these? And these have a higher GPH rating, just wondering how it matches up to some of the other filters you have had, specifically other Fluval's?
