fly fishing sauger?

WALLEYE & SAUGER'S are not likely to be caught on a fly . but if you found'em in a river there is a chance .. :D
 
I agree, not likely. If you find a shallow pool at dusk, it's possible.
 
Never caugth a sauger before but I catch walleye all the time on my fly rod in the spring. They run at the same time steelhead do, and also hold in the same areas. The only problem is can't keep them, season is closed on inland waters right now. But yeah egg and nymph patterns work really well.
