thats the wierdest brook trout Ive ever seen. their usaully more streamlined than that. nice catches though. I live in the city with a few lake around me and I fly fish for carp. can be a real battle.

All the brookies I posted are males, they get that hunch back look in certain bodies of water, especially near the spawning season.

I love flyfishing for carp, here are a few I got last year around 30"...

What kind of flies do you use to catch carp?

Most dark colored nymphs/streamers around a size 6-16 will work for carp. They eat a lot of insects and crustaceans, so keep that in mind when picking a fly. The best way to target them is to sight fish for them.
