My turtle scraped the top of the shell on a piece of driftwood and it does not seem to want to heal. It has been over five weeks and still is "white".
Parameters of tank: 80 degrees, salt added when needed, UV sterilization, liquid supplements for shell growth, water changes three times a week.
Any ideas?

Pull him out of tank and dry off wound. Paint some acriflavin on it, and let it dry for about 30 mins. Put him back in tank and make sure water is 82 to 86F. Acriflavin will stain your water green but will dissipate over time or do a water change. Warm water (82 to 86F) is essential for its body to fight off disease at this point.

High protein also. the higher the better.
Protein promotes healing.

Also up the calcium intake for a week or two. then stop it. I say stop it because you can OD a turtle on Ca
