Where it gets freaky fasho
what kind of set up do you have in your tank. Right now i have a bare tank. i used to have decorations in it but the turtle would go and flip them over and pull plants out and mess up the set up i have. right now i have him in a 180 gallon tank. any input would be awesome. (gravel, driftwood, etc.)?

Sand is okay. But i feel like sometimes it eats some of it. Lol

I been keeping it bare for two yrs & no issues.

I have natural gravel and Malaysian drift wood in the tank. It does not move the drift wood at all. Also I have a bunch of other fishes that the turtle does not bother. There are certain particular types of fishes it like to bite on. My friend keep his tank with a very lower temperature and it does not bite on any fishes. Mines likes to bite on bichirs and giraffe nose cats for some reason. All the other types of cats and plecos are fine with mines. Good Luck.

Yeah but imagine a twenty two inch disc in your tank rather than the long body shape of most catfish.I would want my turtle to have plenty of swimming space and most tanks Im willing to pay for won't allow that and I don't have the space for an indoor pond.
