Are male FRT's more active and aggressive than females? Are there any noticeable differences personality wise and physically between sexes?
Thanks

Hello

I have never noticed and difference in behavior between male and femal FRT's you can tell them apart by looking at the tails. The male has a large fat tail and the female a smaller skinner tale. There should be some good examples of this on the internet.

my friend has a male FRT that seems to consistently hump a snake neck in the same tank with it - I guess that's somthing you could consider aggressive?

IMO, it all falls to individual personalities. I have a male that stays in his cave all day. Another male that swims at the surface most of the time. A female (recently gone to another keeper) that stays in the back corner of her tank. And, a female that is a pretty hard mid-water swimmer most of the day. Aggressiveness can't really be judged since my turts have their own individual tanks.
