hello guys i have now finished setting up my 900 gallon aquarium for my two fly

river turtles. i need to know some species of fish to be tank mates with the

turtles because i do not want the turtles to be alone. please suggest types of

fish to accompany them.

Really, you can try anything you like.
There's still a chance the FRT will go after it though.

i was thinking about a couple of arowanas but im not sure, i have an enormous pond in the back with many different fish and i have a cuviers dwarf caiman in there with them and the caiman seems to only eat the food fed to him, so i dont know what to say. i have always wanted frts and i am going to start breeding them as soon as they hit maturity

a friend of mine has two Fly River Turtles in a pond and he has RTC and TSN catfish with them along with 3 Silver Arowanas and 2 Jardini Arowana's

If the tank is big enough, I think you might be able to put fish in there. The key is giving the fish enough room to flee. I saw an FRT at the LFS with two big cichla in a not-so big tank and those cichla were all chewed up.

Of course, you could always puts lots of itty bitty fish that the FRT will most likely ignore if kept well fed. It'd be so awesome to see an enormous swarm of neons schooling around the FRTs.

lmao, that would be pretty cool. but i dont know where im going to get 1000 neon tetras lmao. again its a 900 gallon aquarium, so i wanted to put some fish that are noticeble.

snookn21 has a good deal on bulk neons right now

Datnoids, any large african ciclid, probably some catfish, rays, etc. You don't have a lot of limits with a tank like that and FRT's get along with most any fish from what I understand. Just make sure they can tolerate the water parameters needed for the FRT's.
