Are FRT still banned or can you buy and sell them in the US now?

I'm not sure of their exact status but I see them for sale from time to time.Their sale is not allowed on here if I am not mistaken.

Still illegal to import and export. I think still legal is can buy a frt from a prior owner if in the US. Ban was 2000. Even hatchlings that were born here can be sold but have to prove if authorities come after you.

Not sure. All the legal issues involved i’m sure deter this. But I do believe PredatoryFins2016 has one. Maybe he has more insight if he’s not too busy with his business.

I think I recall reading somewhere that they do not breed and reproduce until they are over twenty years old.

I was curious because I have a large one, id be interesting in selling. I had him before the ban, however he needs a nice pond now.
